Ett citat

Vid ett par tillfällen det senaste året har jag läst ett citat, som tillskrivs författaren William Golding. Jag har försökt verifiera att Golding verkligen har sagt eller skrivit orden men lyckas inte. Jag tror mig ha verifierat att han har sagt att:

I think women are foolish to pretend they are equal to men, they are far superior and have always been.

Men att han skulle vara upphovsmannen bakom resten av det fantastiska citatet är jag mer tveksam till men så här lyder det:

I think women are foolish to pretend they are equal to men, they are far superior and have always been. Whatever you give a woman, she will make it greater. If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby. If you give her a house, she'll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her. So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit!
